The New MILK Archival Range
Put simply, archival quality means that your photos will look as good for your children and your children’s children as they did the day you received them. Each book is bound in linen, wibalin, buckram or leather cover materials that have been carefully selected for their archival properties.
6-Color Printing Process
A life lived colorfully deserves more than just four colors. While most custom photo books are printed with a 4-color print process, the MILK Archival Range is printed exclusively using a 6-color print process, which produces more vibrant images than 4-color alone, perfect for images with skin tones, sky and foliage.
Our five paper stocks are all acid-free and certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), which means not only are they good for the planet, they also produce a printed product that won’t decompose or discolor with age. Choose from smooth Mohawk Superfine, textured Italian Tintoretto, satin finish Freelife, matt ivory Gardatpat or Photo Lustre Mohawk paper stocks.
Bound to Last
We honor the art of making something by hand and the attention to detail that can only be achieved this way. All of our books are handbound and stitched using techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation of bookmakers. All of our MILK Archival Photo Books have paper pages and are center-stitched, and our albums are made using a lay-flat technique and flush-mounted on to core board.
